Smile (100 Theme Challenge)I smiled. It’s not that I had anything to be happy about, but it was to hide who I truly was from everyone else. It was my mask, if you will.Smile (100 Theme Challenge) by *Tygerlander
Even when I was little, growing up in the Rukongai, I smiled. Life was hard, food was scarce and I was always so hungry. I had to steal food to survive.
And then I met her. She was semi-conscious at the time, badly dehydrated and starved. She was like me. Something about her really connected. I gave her some of the persimmons I had and that’s how we started our friendship. Only when I was with her was my smile ever real.
Years later when I had to betray her, the smile became my mask again. How could I tell her that was I was doing was really to protect her? It would make her cry and I vowed never to let anything or anyone make her cry.

Down below leaves had changed colors and falling from most of the trees makeing piles which young children jumped in.
Starrk didn't understand just what it was. The hole in his chest began to hurt suddenly....
'Odd...' he thought. His chest throbbed as if a heart was trying to beat within him.
Starrk had never seen the earth like this before...then it wasn't like he was ever allowed to. The human world was for humans after all-but he couldn't help but feel just a little sad that his world didn't have such things. Everything there was san

but to answer your question (for you and future members who missed it) You can still submit OCs to our group even if they're not part of the 13 court guard squads. Kido Corps. officers and members of squad 0 or fan-created squads go to the 'Allies of the Gotei 13' folder until I find a more permanent solution.
